Faculty and Staff Excited About BBSH’s New Facilities

August 2005 - Boca Raton, FL - Barbara Brennan School of Healing® (BBSH®) is happy to announce that as part of its exciting 2005-06 school year, the Resident Training portion of its program will be conducted at a new, upgraded facility.

BBSH Resident Training Class Weeks will now be held at the newly renovated Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel in Miami, Florida. The Sheraton has the advantage of being convenient for BBSH students to access and the updated facilities will provide a comfortable environment more conducive to learning.

The Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel offers 334 guest rooms, including 18 suites. Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, fitness area, and access to an international merchandise shopping area. Additionally it is located just minutes from Miami International Airport and 45 minutes (30 miles) from Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. Miami Beach is approximately 20 minutes (12 miles).

As returning students know and Year 1 students will soon learn, each class week the hotel becomes a wonderful, vital community that provides an invaluable support system for the students staying there. A large group of BBSH students gathered together sharing stories and ideas, helping each other with assignments, or simply relaxing after a day of class are common sites during each Resident Training week.

The Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel is in full compliance with fire code regulations, zoning requirements, ADA regulations and is insured according to State Regulations.

BBSH Class 1 begins Tuesday, October 18 and ends Sunday, October 23, 2005.
