INTRODUCTION TO BRENNAN HEALING SCIENCE WORKSHOP: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Is attendance at a workshop necessary in order to apply to the School?
No. However, it is extremely beneficial since it allows you to get a feel for the type of work and format used in the Program. It is also an opportunity to ask questions regarding the Program.
2. Is Dr. Brennan present during the entire workshop?
Dr. Brennan stays for the entire workshop but she is not always present. She gives the Friday night lecture and continues to lecture about basic healing principles on Saturday morning. Saturday and Sunday are also days of intensive, hands-on instruction in Healing Science taught by the BBSH faculty. Sometime on Sunday Dr. Brennan will either continue to lecture or channel.
3. Are there any workshops that Dr. Brennan does not attend?
BBSH also offers workshops led only by BBSH faculty. Dr. Brennan does not attend these workshops.
4. Are there scholarships available?
No, not at this time.
5. Is the Friday night lecture included in the price of the workshop?
Yes.
6. Are meals included in the price of the workshop?
No.
7. Do you set up roommate options?
No. Many workshop participants pair up during the workshop.
8. Is the Friday night lecture mandatory?
It is strongly advised as it begins to lay the groundwork for the weekend.
9. Can I just show up and attend one day?
No. The workshop works in progressive stages from day to day. Therefore, it would not be beneficial to just take one day.
10. What are the hours for the workshop?
The Friday night lecture is from 7–10 PM, Saturday classes are from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday classes are from 9 AM to 4 PM. A presentation about the school follows the Saturday class from 5–6 PM.
11. Do you have to have experience with this sort of work to benefit from the workshop?
No. The workshop is both a spiritual and educational experience that will enhance your own healing process, help you discover yourself as a healer, and introduce you to what is taught at the School.
12. I am a healer myself. Is this workshop advanced enough for someone such as myself?
Dr. Brennan's program is unique and while you are already a healer, this workshop can only enhance your knowledge and open your awareness to different techniques and insights.
13. Do I get any credit for already being a healer, nurse, doctor, etc.?
No.
14. I am a nurse, but I do not know if I want to take the CEU exam right now. Can I take it at a later date?
No. It is an open-book, take-home test, available only at the workshop.
15. If I am not a nurse or acupuncturist, can I get some documentation to help me obtain CEU credits?
You can request a letter of completion from the BBSH after the workshop. This letter does not qualify you to practice professionally. The letter is primarily for professionals (other than nurses or acupuncturists) who want to submit the letter for possible CEU credits.
16. Are there any other credits available, other than CEUs?
Not at this time.
17. Can I register for this workshop over the phone?
Yes, if you have a VISA or MASTERCARD.
18. How many people do you accept at your workshops?
We take however many participants the teaching team can accommodate. The average is 60, but can vary between 30–180.
19. Do I get to meet Barbara Brennan personally?
Not necessarily, but she does interact with the audience from the stage. Dr. Brennan gives the major lectures and teaches part of the day on Saturday and part of the day on Sunday.
20. Can Barbara Brennan conduct a healing on me at the workshop?
Probably not. Dr. Brennan sometimes does a healing demonstration. However, the participant is randomly chosen during the lecture according to what the group needs.
21. Is there one-on-one contact?
Yes, with participants and teaching team members, and there are many opportunities to ask teachers questions.
22. Does Dr. Brennan do healings?
Dr. Brennan no longer has a private healing practice, as she dedicates her time to teaching and writing.
23. What will I receive at the end of this workshop?
You will have discovered and received information about yourself that will help you create positive life changes.
24. Can I heal myself after this workshop?
The workshop will help you discover the healer in you and you will learn some healing techniques. However, we recommend completing the Professional Brennan Healing Science Program before you practice healing.
